Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Demonstrates working knowledge of dealing policies and gaming procedures.
Sustain friendly, supportive and enthusiastic attitude towards guests.
Displays positive acceptance of demanding scheduling needs.
Create teamwork by performing all dealing functions in a professional and accurate manner.
Assists in maintaining a spotless environment by disposing of any cups, glasses or bottles left behind by guests.
Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in a professional manner.
Adheres to company attendance and uniform appearance standards.
Other duties as assigned.
At all times acts as a role model and always presents oneself as a credit to Oxford Casino and the Table Games Department.
Attend all company required mandatory training classes when scheduled.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.
High school diploma or its equivalency required.
Must pass a Table Games audition demonstrating adequate dealing skills.
Must successfully complete and pass a math aptitude test.
Must possess and utilize excellent customer service skills.
Must be able to get along with co-workers and adhere to all Supervisor/Manager directives.
Must present a well-groomed, professional appearance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Maine Gaming License.
Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills required.
Requires an individual with a high degree of professionalism and the ability to work well on all Table Games. Must work effectively with others, on a consistent basis.
Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times.
Must be procedure oriented, and able to take direction and handle all Dealing tasks effectively.
Ability to communicate all irregularities to their Supervisor/Manager on a consistent basis.
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a daily/weekly schedule.
Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.

Able to lift up to 25 pounds and carry up to 15 pounds.
Able to bend, reach, twist, and grip items while working at assigned table.
Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees.
Operate in a mentally and physically stressful situation.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
