YOUR LIFE AS A NONPROFIT RECEPTIONIST This full-time entry-level customer service and administrative position in human services works during the day.
As a Nonprofit Receptionist with our nonprofit, you serve as the main point of contact for those who visit our Opportunity Center by first, warmly greeting each visitor who enters our center.
You also answer and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
Using your exceptional organizational skills, you schedule appointments for participants and send out reminders about upcoming orientations or appointments.
You collect and timestamp participant documentation and mail outreach letters to those who've missed activities.
Running reports through our FedcapCARES system, you generate data to organize daily tasks and ensure nothing is amiss.
Additionally, you order needed office supplies.
If you need to step away from the reception area, you always make sure someone is there to monitor the desk and answer phone calls.
You strive to maintain a friendly and engaging manner no matter who you're speaking to and ensure every participant, visitor, or stakeholder feels welcome at our nonprofit.
