Full time, day shiftThe Lead Medical Assistant/Receptionist will bridge the gap between MA/MR and management.
Their primary objective is to improve operational efficiency and quality through ongoing assessment and communication with staff.
In addition, will provide direct, basic patient care activities under the guidance and direction of a Provider.
Actively oversees practice's success of defined metrics.
Facilitates daily huddle, participates in monthly office staff meetings, and monitors charting documentation.
Works as a team member demonstrating a positive, supportive and helpful attitude towards patients, families, visitors, co-workers and physicians and resolves/escalates identified problems In collaboration with management proactively monitors staffing needs of the practice.
Answers telephone calls promptly and courteously and relays all messages accurately.
Displays competence while performing phlebotomy including accurate specimen labeling Assists the physician and Nurse Practitioners with procedures and records accurate Intake items prior to exam Stocks the Center and immediate patient area with appropriate supplies.
Keeps hallways and other common areas clear and free of supplies and equipment.
Actively oversees chart preparation activities, obtaining, verifying, and documenting required patient information.
Requests pertinent records from other institutions and follows through until they arrive.
Qualifications:
MA cert within 90 days of hire BLS cert within 90 days of hire Driver's License High School Diploma required 1 year of experience required What We Offer:
